Hello! Welcome to Amy Turrell Illustration! I'm Amy, a Kent born, self taught artist living in Manchester, UK and this is my exciting new venture!

What is Paint and Whiskers? Well, its my shop; my products, my designs, my ideas. Amy Turrell Illustration is my company name and any work that I do for other people or companies comes under this. It's their name, their ideas, their designs, with my consultation and work behind it. 

I live with my gorgeous little family (and two cats) and the general idea is to set up a small business doing something I love, that allows me the flexibility to spend more time with my boys, pay some bills and fund exciting things like sports clubs, new bikes, ice-cream and as many adventures as we can! I mainly hand paint animals in watercolour and ink, and sometimes then add a little more detail in pencil or pen. Recently I have discovered digital art, but only use this to correct mistakes and hide splodges - its just not as fun as painting by hand. 

It can be tough being a small business, so to be a bit different, I am offering MORE CHOICE. You choose the type of paper your card is printed on (2 gorgeous options). Some of our designs have a message on but you can also choose the exact same picture, blank. You can also choose to have 1st or 2nd class delivery - so if you aren't in a rush, save a few pennies! As I appreciate you choosing to shop online with me, as opposed to instore somewher, I will always try my very best to have your ordered packed and posted by the next working day.
